Privacy note
This is a small private test, run by one person for invited friends. Here's what happens to what you enter.
What's stored
Your Google name and email (to sign you in), the food, weight and goals you log, and the same for any parents you add. Feedback you send is stored with your email. If you ask for access, your Google name and email are kept so the organiser can approve you; a declined request is deleted after 30 days.
Where, and who can see it
On one server rented from Google Cloud, in Mumbai, India (it may move to another host later; this note will say so). Other testers can't see your data. The person running the test can technically open the database, and only does so to fix problems. Backups (on the server, in a private storage bucket, and on the organiser's computer) are deleted after 30 days.
AI estimates
"Describe it", "Photo" and "After the call" send your text or photo to Google's Gemini AI for an estimate. This test uses Gemini's free tier, where Google may use what's sent to improve its products, so don't include anything you'd rather keep private. Branded search and barcode scans ask Open Food Facts, a public product database (only the search words or barcode are sent). A branded product you add joins the shared food list, so other testers can find that product (not who added it). Everything else stays on the server.
Your parents' data
You enter it yourself. Please let them know you're logging what they eat.
Estimates, not medical advice
Every number is an estimate, and this app is not medical advice. For health conditions, follow a doctor's advice.
Leaving
"Delete my account" on the Progress page removes everything of yours at once, including your parents' logs. Copies in backups disappear within 30 days.
